Rishabh Pant has not played too many games in the last couple of years due to injuries. Last year, while on a tour of England, he broke his toe. Rishabh Pant returned from injury during the Test series played against South Africa in November. Unfortunately, Rishabh Pant got injured once again before the ODI series against New Zealand earlier this year and could not play. Rishabh Pant may have started for the T20 World Cup 2026, but it looks like he won’t return from injury anytime soon.
The next thing Pant will focus on is the Indian Premier League, where he will be leading the Lucknow Super Giants. To get back into shape before the T20 tournament, Pant has recently commenced his special Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) treatment. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves treatment with 100% oxygen, which helps increase oxygen saturation in your body. This treatment allows you to heal in half the time.

Rishabh Pant has fallen down the order again, especially in white-ball cricket. His inclusion in the Indian team for T20Is is unlikely, with many young wicket-keeper-batters vying for positions. However, Rishabh has a big chance of becoming India’s second wicket-keeper-batsman for the ODI side, especially with next year’s World Cup around the corner. Regular injuries, though, might act as a barrier to this.
Following his successful comeback against South Africa, Pant has spoken about how he handles injuries, the recovery process, and how he remains motivated through the ordeal.

Pant said in a video posted by the BCCI:
"After an injury, it is never easy to come back. But God has been kind always, and he has blessed me always, and this time also, and very happy to be back."
The person who recovered from life-threatening injuries from a car accident last year also added:
"See, every time I take the field, one thing I try to be is to be grateful. That's why I always look up and thank God, my parents, my family, and everyone who has supported me (during the recovery phase). One thing I do is to focus on controllables; luck is one thing that you cannot control. So, I try not to think about that, as there are so many factors that we don't factor in. But if you can keep your mind in a place where a lot of things are not affecting you, and you focus only on things that matter to you. You will find happiness if you keep on doing things that make you feel good, especially when you are injured. Just be in a zone where you feel comfortable, work hard, be disciplined, and be in a zone where you are ready to learn, but still enjoying that time doing everything. Whatever you are doing, you need to enjoy that moment, and give your 100%, and find joy and happiness in that."
