Indian equity benchmarks ended the session on a mixed note on February 11. The NIFTY closed at 25,953.85, up 18.70 points or 0.07%, while the SENSEX slipped 0.05% to settle at 84,233.64. Despite the marginal gain in the headline index, several heavyweight stocks ended the day in the red.


NIFTY 50 Top Losers Today


Tata Consultancy Services declined 2.5% to close at ₹2,909.80, emerging as the top loser in the index.


Coal India fell 1.8% to ₹423.30 at the close.


Infosys dropped 1.7% to settle at ₹1,471.90.


HCL Technologies ended 1.4% lower at ₹1,551.60.


Eternal slipped 1.0% to ₹300.70.


ITC closed 1.0% lower at ₹318.30.


Grasim Industries declined 0.8% to ₹2,929.00.


Wipro fell 0.7% to ₹229.80.


Axis Bank ended 0.7% down at ₹1,347.00.


UltraTech Cement slipped 0.6% to close at ₹12,940.00.


The weakness was largely concentrated in IT names, which accounted for four of the top five losers in the index for the session. Other declines were seen across sectors including banking, cement, mining, and FMCG.
