When the child started crying, the teacher gave him a biscuit and threatened to beat him more if he told anyone at home. The incident took place in Colonelganj police station area.
The matter pertains to a private school in the district. Other students of the school also got scared by this incident. On returning home, the child tearfully told the whole story to his family members, after which his father immediately took him to the hospital for treatment. When the child's father later went to school to complain, the teacher scolded him and sent him away. Based on the complaint of the child's father, the police have registered a case against the teacher and the school management has expelled the accused from the school.
Raj Prasad Goswami, 45, resident of Chatrauli, works as a labourer. His family consists of wife Janaki (40), son Awadhesh (22), daughter Rishu (16) and youngest son Abhishek (10). The youngest son is a class 2 student in MRG Public School, Gumdaha. On Wednesday he went to school at 9 am. He attended all his classes. After lunch, at 1 pm, teacher Prakhar Singh (38) came to take the social science class. As soon as he came, he asked the children to show their homework, during this time when he reached the victim child, his homework was not complete.
Teacher gets angry when homework is not completed
When the homework was not completed, the teacher became enraged and started beating the child. The teacher hit the child's feet 105 times. After the beating, Abhishek started crying loudly, then the teacher gave him a biscuit and threatened him that if he told anything at home, I would beat him again tomorrow.
Father reached school, principal scolded him and sent him away
When the father of the victim child reached the school with a complaint, Principal Madhavraj scolded him and sent him away.
