In view of the past accidents due to Chinese Manjha in Commissionerate Prayagraj, a campaign is being run from 09.02.2026 to 12.02.2026 to stop these accidents and to take action against those selling Chinese Manjha. Legal action will be taken as per rules against the persons found guilty in connection with banning the manufacture, storage and sale of synthetic manja/lead coated/nylon kite string and Chinese Manjha. During this period, all the police station in-charges of Prayagraj Commissionerate will take the following action.*

1-All police station in-charges will check suspicious shops.

2- All shops selling Chinese Manjha should be verified.

3- The network of Chinese Manjha sellers should be traced.

4- Action should be taken to confiscate Chinese Manjha.

5-People from the public should be encouraged to give information, the name of the person giving information will be kept confidential.

6-The above action will be reviewed by the Police Commissioner, Prayagraj. If laxity is found, strict action will be taken against the concerned.
