Ollywood actor Satyaki Mishra alleged that he and his family received death threats over a long-standing property and business dispute in Cuttack.

He filed a formal complaint with the police and sought immediate protection.

Mishra stated that the dispute centres on ownership of Cuttack Student Storea well-known publishing and business establishment in Balubazar. According to him, the store was founded by his grandfather and later transferred to his father, Nrusingha Prasad Mishra. However, his brothers, Sabyasachi Mishra and Soumitri Mishra, allegedly tried to take control of the business unlawfully.

On February 6, the two brothers reportedly entered Satyaki’s residence forcibly, abused his 84-year-old father, and issued death threats. They also misbehaved with female family members. Following the incident, Mishra lodged a written complaint at Purighat Police Station.

Despite the complaint, Mishra claimed that the police did not take action. Therefore, he met the Cuttack DCP on Monday, urging intervention and security for his family. He told the media that repeated threats and pressure to withdraw the case have left him deeply concerned for his family’s safety.

Mishra added that attempts at compromise failed, and the situation has escalated beyond reconciliation. He demanded strict legal action against the accused and protection for his elderly father and other family members.
