Television – Renowned television actor Rupali Ganguly marked her presence at the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), commemorating 100 years since the organisation’s formation. The event, attended by prominent figures from various fields, highlighted the RSS’s century-long journey and influence in India.

Ganguly took to social media to document her visit, posting photographs from the celebration. Among the images were moments featuring RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and actor Shilpa Shetty. In her caption, she described the occasion as an honour and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage in a conversation with Bhagwat during the event.

Currently, Ganguly continues to headline Anupamaa, a Hindi adaptation of the Bengali series Sreemoyee. The show chronicles the journey of a devoted homemaker who gradually asserts her independence after facing neglect and betrayal within her marriage.
The narrative centres on Anupamaa Shah, a woman who decides to rebuild her life after discovering her husband’s infidelity. Through personal setbacks and evolving family dynamics, the character’s journey explores themes of self-respect, resilience, and emotional growth. The storyline has struck a chord with viewers, contributing to the show’s sustained popularity.
