Pea pudding: Green peas can provide all-round benefits to health. If you have not tried Matar Halwa, then you must try this recipe. It is easy to make and its taste is also amazing. Let us tell you that to make Matar Halwa, you will need 2 cups of fresh green peas, 3/4 cup of khoya, 3/4 cup of sugar, one teaspoon of cardamom powder, 2 tablespoons of desi ghee, chopped pistachios and chopped almonds.



Step 1- First of all peel the peas. Now boil 2 cups of green peas and then mash the boiled peas well to prepare pea paste.


Second step- After this, add desi ghee in the pan and heat it. Fry chopped pistachios and chopped almonds in hot ghee until they turn light golden.


Third Step- Now add pea paste in the same pan and fry it on low flame for about 2 minutes. Frying the pea paste will remove the rawness of the peas.


Fourth Step- Now you have to add sugar to this mixture and cook the halwa well. Cook the halwa until it becomes thick.


Fifth Step- Finally, mix cardamom powder to enhance the taste of halwa.


Sixth Step- When the aroma starts coming from the halwa, then understand that the pea halwa is ready to serve.
