New Delhi: The news of finding dead bodies of three people in a white Tata Tiago car on Delhi’s Peeragarhi flyover created a sensation in the entire area. On Sunday morning, people saw the abandoned car and informed the police. When the police team reached the spot, bodies of two men and a woman were found inside the car. The accident was so shocking that the people nearby were stunned.

Police and forensic team immediately started investigation. The car was parked on Peeragadhi flyover. The age of the dead bodies is said to be between 40 to 70 years. There was one woman and two men. In the preliminary investigation, there is a possibility of death due to poisoning. No external injuries or signs of robbery were found. DCP Prabhakar Rana said that it seems to be a case of suicide. All three had consumed some poisonous beverage. The bodies have been identified, but the police have not yet made the names public. The postmortem report is awaited, which will reveal the exact cause of death.

Search for reasons for suicide

According to police sources, there are no signs of struggle or fight in the car. All three people were together, so reasons to family or relatives are being investigated. Was there financial crunch, family dispute or any mental stress? These questions are still unanswered. Police have started investigating the owner, registration and CCTV footage of the car. Inquiries are being made in the surrounding area as to when and how the car reached there. The forensic team has taken samples from the car so that the poisonous substance can be confirmed.

Panic in the area

As soon as the news spread, there was panic in Peeragadhi and surrounding areas. People gathered near the car and started asking questions to the police. Traffic was also affected. The police surrounded the area and did not remove the car from there until the investigation was completed. DCP Rana said that investigation is being done from all angles to find out the cause of death. The family is being talked to. If any suicide note or message is found, it will also become part of the investigation.
