The 69-year-old private equity businessman has made serious allegations against his 43-year-old wife Elizabeth Leeds. According to documents presented in the court, more than $2.75 lakh was invested in a project based in Mozambique. Additionally, he claimed that the salaries of several domestic staff and personal luxury expenses were also paid from marital assets.

This divorce is not limited to just personal disputes, but also involves huge property issues. According to media reports, real estate worth about $100 million is at stake in this legal battle. These properties include a $22 million mansion located at the prestigious 740 Park Avenue in Manhattan, a luxurious $35.6 million home in Palm Beach, Florida, and a $23.5 million property in Southampton.

Elizabeth hit back

On the other hand, Elizabeth Leeds has also made serious allegations against her husband. She said Jeffrey exerted financial pressure, stalked her and sent legal notices to her personal associates. Elizabeth alleges that the children were also abused during their school program. He has demanded security and proper financial rights from the court.
