Vaibhav Suryavanshi has performed brilliantly in the India T20 Under-19 World Cup. In the final match played on Friday, he scored 175 runs and led India to a spectacular victory. After receiving the trophy, Vaibhav said, ‘I feel very good right now. I can’t express my feelings in words, but the way everyone was working hard for the last 7-8 months, everyone had performed very well in the series and also in the Asia Cup. Our support staff, who have been with us for the last 8-9 months, take care of us every day, they ask us every day how we are, health wise and how the training is going. That’s why I want to dedicate my Man of the Match award to the entire supporting staff.



 


In the tournament, Vaibhav Suryavanshi won both Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament in the final of the Under-19 World Cup. With this, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become the first player to achieve this feat.


 



How many runs did Vaibhav score?


The final match of the Under-19 World Cup was played between India and England. Batting first, India scored 412 runs in 50 overs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s contribution while playing for India was most important. In response, the England team came out to bat, but the entire team was all out after scoring 311 runs in 40.2 overs. In this way India won by about 100 runs.


 


With this victory, India won the T20 Under-19 World Cup title for the sixth time. Vaibhav Suryavanshi emerged as the star player in this entire tournament. In the final match, he scored 175 runs in 80 balls, which included 15 fours and 15 sixes.


England collapsed in 40.2 overs


England had a huge target of 413 runs to win. In the race to score runs, England lost their first wicket for just 19 runs. After this the team tried to score runs at a fast pace, but could not last long in front of the Indian bowlers. Within no time, England lost 7 wickets at the score of 177 runs. Ultimately the entire team collapsed in 40.2 overs and India registered a historic win.
