Vijay Yesudas is reuniting with director Venkatesh Maha for a song in Satyadev Kancharana ’s upcoming period psychological drama , Rao Bahadur . The duo previously collaborated on the 2020 film Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya , for which Yesudas sang the track Ningi Chutte .

The singer was in Hyderabad recently to record the number, composed by Smaran with lyrics by Rahman.










Talking to Hyderabad Times, Vijay said teaming up with Venkatesh Maha again was a refreshing experience. “It’s always exciting to team up with Venkatesh for something different. This is a period film with a unique mood, and the recording was great fun,” he said. Describing the song, he added, “It’s a soothing melody with a musical twist — not just simple layering. You could call it a romantic melody that sits beautifully within the film’s emotional space.”
