Final Fantasy 14 is officially entering the Nendoroid world for the first time, and fans are loving the idea. Square Enix has teamed up with Good Smile to release a new set of posable Nendoroid figures inspired by the popular MMORPG. The lineup includes beloved Final Fantasy 14 characters along with two classic icons from the very first Final Fantasy game, marking a big milestone for the franchise’s merchandise history.
The new Nendoroid collection includes three major Final Fantasy 14 characters. These are Y’shtola Rhul, G’raha Tia, and Estinien. All three are part of the Scions and are shown wearing their most recent outfits from the game. Each figure will also come with the character’s signature weapon. While the designs are not final yet, placeholder images confirm the familiar Nendoroid look with chibi proportions, oversized heads, and small bodies. Like other Nendoroids, these figures are expected to be posable and include interchangeable parts such as facial expressions and hand accessories, though specific extras have not been revealed yet.
Alongside the Final Fantasy 14 characters, two figures based on the original Final Fantasy are also on the way. These include the iconic Warrior of Light and the fan-favorite Chocobo. The Warrior of Light has been shown in multiple sword poses, while the Chocobo appears in several playful stances, including waving and mid-step. The Warrior of Light is expected to open for pre-orders in March 2026. The Chocobo already has a finished prototype, suggesting it may release shortly after. The Final Fantasy 14 figures, however, are likely further out.
The reaction from Final Fantasy fans has been overwhelmingly positive, especially within the Final Fantasy 14 community. Many players have said they plan to pre-order as soon as possible, while others are hoping more characters will be added later. Popular requests include other Scions like Thancred, as well as major villains from expansions such as Stormblood and Shadowbringers. While no prices or release dates have been confirmed yet, Nendoroid figures usually cost under $100. If these figures sell well, fans believe this could open the door to even more Final Fantasy Nendoroids in the future.
