Kim Kardashian has finally spoken about the family tensions surrounding her ex-husband Kanye West, reassuring fans that they’ll manage through the storm for the sake of their four children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

In an interview with Complex published on Thursday, February 5, the 45-year-old reality star offered a brief update on her relationship with West, saying, “We’ll always be family,” and adding, “We both know that.” She insisted, “We will be okay, and there’s so much love for our family,” stressing that both parents want what’s best for their children.

Kardashian has been outspoken about the difficulties in co-parenting with the 48-year-old rapper, a factor that contributed to the breakdown of their marriage. In a November 2025 episode of The Kardashians, she disclosed frustration over West’s inconsistent contact with their kids, saying that despite his claims he “never once called.” She emphasised that while she encourages a healthy relationship between the children and their father, she finds his erratic behaviour damaging and that questioning her role as a mother because of it is deeply upsetting.

“There are times I feel like snapping, but I can’t. I just can’t,” she admitted, explaining that her priority is to stay strong for the children: “My only focus and job is really just to be strong for my kids.”

For context, Kardashian and West met in 2012, married in 2014, and Kim filed for divorce in 2021; the divorce was finalised in 2022. The ex-couple continue to co-parent their four children.
