Earlier, Delhi skipper Jemimah Rodrigues’ half century coupled with Chinelle Henry’s blistering knocked lifted them to formidable to 203 for four.
Rodrigues scored 37-ball 57 with the help of eight boundaries while Laura Wolvaardt (44 not out off 25 balls) and Lizelle Lee (37 off 30 balls) also scored at a brisk pace.
Towards the end, Henry’s 15-ball 35 in which she struck four boundaries and two sixes lifted Delhi past the 200-run mark.
Though RCB’s Lauren Bell didn’t pick up a wicket she was extremely economical (0/19) in her four overs on a day where all the other bowlers were taken from runs.
It was because of Bell that Delhi took time to get going as they managed only 36 in their first five overs, after which shakckles were broken.
Brief scores: Delhi Capitals 203/4 in 20 overs (Laura Wolvaardt 44, Jemimah Rodrigues 57). RCB 204/4 in 19.4 overs (Smriti Mandhana 87, Georgia Voll 79).
