The product's Amazon listing says it's made from 100% natural keratin and is ideal for men and women who have sensitive scalps and desire a natural-looking finish. It's also easy to apply, offering users an instant voluminous appearance.

Robbie Williams was filmed using Nanogen back in 2020 in a post titled 'from thinning to winning', where the star can be seen saying he's 'going thin on top' before applying the product.

If Nanogen's offering doesn't suit, then haircare fans may wish to consider the Boost N Blend Scalp Concealer Female Hair Fibres which is also available at Amazon for £24.95. Back to Nanogen, and one Amazon shopper who titled their review 'can't live without it' said of the fibres: "Excellent product that looks very natural and instantly improves hair appearance. Easy to apply, stays in place well, and matches the colour perfectly."

Meanwhile a second happy purchaser wrote: "I bought these when I had some hair left (prior to shaving head). They were absolutely miraculous.

"You do need somebody to do it for you or have a good hand in the mirror. And you do need to use some hairspray afterwards. Resist the temptation to touch your hair afterwards.

They continued: "It lasts for about 12 hours. You can’t sleep on it. It is pretty miraculous."

Naturally, it's worth considering that one user found the product, which can also be shopped at Boots, a little difficult to apply, commenting: "Seems to work easily. Definitely works. Have to have more practice getting it right as I’m using in front of head and it’s a bit tricky making it look natural."
