Princess Catherine has shared a personal message to mark World Cancer Day today. The video showed clips of the 44-year-old - who was diagnosed with cancer in 2024 - visiting to the Royal Marsden Hospital at the end of 2024.
In a voiceover alongside the clips, Catherine appeared emotional as she shared her message.
She said: "My thoughts are with everyone who is facing a cancer diagnosis, undergoing treatment or finding their way through recovery. Cancer touches so many lives - not only patients, but the families and friends and caregivers who walk beside them.
"As anyone who has experienced this journey will know, it's not linear. There are moments of fear and exhaustion. But also moments of strength, kindness, and profound connection."
She added: "Today is a reminder of the importance of care, understanding and hope. Please know that you are not alone."
Commenting on the post, fans were overcome with emotion, highlighting the much-loved royal's own "strength" and "humility".
One fan commented: "A true inspiration Princess Catherine and your strength, humility and care shines in everything you do xx".
A second added: "A beautiful thoughtful message from our precious Princess Catherine. Your strength and grace are inspirational [red-heart emoji]."
A third added: "Your strength is an inspiration to those fighting and their families."
Earlier on Wednesday, King Charles - who is still undergoing treatement following his diagnosis in 2024 - marked World Cancer Day by thanking those who "work tirelessly to save and improve lives".
Resharing his Stand Up to Cancer message that was first issued on December 12, the monarch says: "I just wanted to ask you to join me today in finding a special place in your hearts, and your minds and prayers for the hundreds of thousands of people across our United Kingdom who receive a cancer diagnosis each year - and for the millions more who love and care for them."
