Scott van-der-Sluis has received support from one of his Love Island co-stars following accusations of bullying levelled at him by Sean Stone.

The ex-professional footballer, currently stirring things up in the fourth series of Love Island: All Stars, certainly made an entrance as the first bombshell on the opening night, causing quite a stir in the villa.

Host Maya Jama put him on the spot immediately, asking him to single out the lads he deemed "no good" for their respective ladies. Scott didn't hesitate to point fingers at Sean Stone and Shaq Muhammad.

When pressed for his rationale, Scott didn't mince words, branding Sean as "one of the worst Islanders" ever. Not one to take it lying down, Sean shot back with: "How many finals did you make?".

Scott fired back, taking a dig at Sean's behaviour during his own season: "You were that far up Joey [Essex]'s a***, you were naming his organs after candies!".

As a result of Scott's choice, Sean and Shaq found themselves banished to the Hideaway for the evening. Upon their return to the villa the next day, it seemed like they had buried the hatchet.

However, tensions flared again during a game called 'It's Giving' when Scott awarded the "biggest pot-stirrer" gift to Sean, sparking another heated exchange over Sean's conduct in the villa.

During a fiery discussion around the firepit, Sean told Scott: "You're not my mate, so if you want to mug me off in front of everyone – do your thing."

Sean broke down in tears, confronting Scott with accusations of being a "bully" who had deliberately tried to embarrass him amongst their fellow islanders.

The next day saw the duo sit down for a heart-to-heart, where Scott offered his apologies for reducing Sean to tears and questioned whether Sean genuinely believed he'd been bullying him. Sean confirmed he felt that way, labelling Scott's behaviour as "strategic".

Scott refuted suggestions he'd been "gunning" for Sean, with both men ultimately agreeing they wouldn't pursue a friendship inside the villa. Now, Mitch Taylor, better recognised as Messy Mitch, has leapt to his mate Scott's defence, adamant he's no bully.

Speaking on behalf of WhichBingo, Mitch—who shared the Love Island series 10 experience with Scott and featured in the inaugural Love Island: All Stars—stated clearly: "I will start by saying Scott is not a bully.

"Sean's tears are real but they're probably are an enhancement of the environment of the villa because the villa is 10 times harder than the first initial villa you are in.

"So I am a bit upset at the fact he chucked that bullying card and tried to run with it. They're on a TV show so stop acting like it's as real as everyday life.

"Everything has to be enhanced because they're there to entertain people and when they throw cards around like the bullying card, this card and that card, it can jeopardise people and I think when Sean cried, I'm not gonna say the tears were crocodile tears, but at the same time it wasn't 100% because of Scott.

"He's not getting a smooth ride and I generally think that it would have been villa life and how intense it is and Scott probably tipped him over edge. I'm not saying Scott is right but he isn't a bully and it's shame."

Love Island: All Stars airs Sunday to Friday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
