Bridgerton returned to Netflix for its fourth season last month.
The storyline is based on the events of Julia Quinn's third Bridgerton novel, An Offer From a Gentleman - which tells Benedict Bridgerton's (Luke Thompson) story.
"Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down - until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother's masquerade ball," the synopsis reads.
The first episode of the Cinderella-inspired season saw Sophie Baek (played by Yerin Ha) secretly attend Lady Violet Bridgerton's (Ruth Gemmell) ball, where she bonded with Benedict over her lack of dancing skills.
Benedict soon began a detailed search to find the mystery woman, before it was revealed that Sophie was, in fact, a maid for her intolerable stepmother Lady Araminta Penwood (Katie Leung).
The new love interest, who is the illegitimate daughter of an earl and one of his maids, was soon ousted by her stepmother and forced to find work in the country, where she was reunited with Benedict - but sadly, he didn't recognise her.
Despite not knowing her true identity, Benedict quickly fell head over heels for Sophie, with the first half of episodes ending on a romantic cliffhanger involving the pair.
With the leading lady being a servant, fans have been given more access to the Regency staff in season four, particularly those who work at Bridgerton House. They include footman John, played by Oli Higginson.
John has appeared in all four seasons of Bridgerton, acting as a trusted member of the Bridgerton household. He notably helped Eloise (Claudia Jessie) learn more about Lady Whistledown in season one, and helped organised Lady Bridgerton's masquerade at the start of the latest season.
Some Bridgerton fans may be surprised to learn that John star Oli is married to a very famous actress in real life. The star has been married to Disney star Meaghan Martin since 2016.
Meaghan is best known for playing Tess in Disney's Camp Rock franchise, and also starred in ABC Family's 10 Things I Hate About You series and Mean Girls 2 before relocating to the UK.

The star previously revealed that she first met her long-time love on a two-week summer acting course, adding: "The first class activity we did was hold eye contact with each other for five minutes straight!"
Bridgerton fans were left stunned after realising the connection, with one person writing on TikTok: "I literally just found out about this minutes ago and I was so shocked!"
Another added: "I just... truly my mind was blown when I found this out earlier! A pairing you truly couldn't see coming but I absolutely love it!" A third said: "SCREAMING WHAT," with another person similarly sharing: "Excuse me WHAT."
Bridgerton season 4, part 2 will land on Netflix on Thursday, February 26
