Lewis Hamilton is said to have split from his closest professional partner ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season. The news comes after seven-time world champion Hamilton was spotted with none other than Kim Kardashian in both the Cotswolds and Paris over the past few days.

Their getaways have fuelled speculation that the pair have started dating, with Hamilton having been publicly single since his split from Nicole Scherzinger in 2015. And now there's been another breakup in his camp, albeit in the professional sense.

According to the Mail, the 41-year-old has parted company with Marc Hynes. It's reported that Hynes, 47, has decided to take up a new role with F1's newest team, Cadillac.

Previously, Hynes was the chief executive of Project 44, Hamilton's management company, between 2015 and 2021. Hamilton and Hynes separated on good terms before the English racing driver was brought back into the fold last year to oversee Hamilton's racing logistics at Ferrari.

Hynes attended practically every one of Hamilton's races in 2025 alongside his trainer, Angela Cullen. Their latest separation is understood to have once again been amicable.

The change is part of a wider overhaul in Hamilton's garage ahead of F1 getting back underway in March. Last month, Ferrari confirmed that Riccardo Adami will no longer serve as his race engineer, with Cedric Michel-Grosjean tipped to replace him.

Hamilton endured a nightmare first season with Ferrari, failing to finish on the podium at a Grand Prix for the first time in his illustrious career. But after three days of testing in Barcelona, the Brit is feeling 'positive' about the upcoming campaign, having set the fastest lap among the 20 drivers present.

"It's been a really enjoyable week, honestl," Hamilton said. "I think a huge amount of work over the winter on my side, personal side, but then what the team have done over the winter to make changes going into the test."

F1 is undergoing an unprecedented change in 2026, with new echo-friendly regulations set to level out the playing field. After completing 209 laps in Ferrari's new SF-26, Hamilton added: "The car generation is actually a little bit more fun to drive.

"It's oversteery and snappy and sliding, but it's a little bit easier to catch and I would definitely say more enjoyable."

He went on to say: "We've had great debriefs, everyone's really on it. I really feel the winning mentality in every single person in the team more than ever, so it's a positive."

Off the track, speculation over his potential relationship with Kardashian has been swirling since the weekend. She and Hamilton have been described as 'inseparable', with the famous duo using 'military op' skills to avoid being seen as much as possible.

A source told the Sun: "Kim and Lewis have such intense working schedules so they're keen to spend as much time together as possible. Right now they're inseparable and are fitting their dates around Kim's work commitments."
