The World Cup is just over 100 days away and excitement is building ahead of one of the most complex tournaments in history. Over three-and-a-half years since Lionel Messi and Argentina were crowned champions, the world's best nations will take centre stage in an attempt to win football's prestigious titles.
The United States, Canada, and Mexico will host the 2026 World Cup, with 46 nations competing in the finals. Over 100 games will be played this summer, promising a thrilling festival of football.
The tournament starts on June 11, with Mexico taking on South Africa in a repeat of the 2010 World Cup final. After five weeks of football, the final two teams will then face each other at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
England, France and Brazil will all be hoping to topple Argentina. There will also be four teams - Cape Verde, Curacao, Jordan and Uzbekistan - competing in the tournament for the first time.

England come into the tournament as one of the clear favourites, with Thomas Tuchel in charge to win the World Cup. The Three Lions have not been victorious since 1966, reaching the semi-final in 2018 under Gareth Southgate.
Carlo Ancelotti's Brazil are also many's favourite with a pool of talent ready to add a sixth star to their shirt. The South Americans last lifted the World Cup in 2002 and they will want to avenge Argentina's success from Qatar.
