Former spouses Amanda and Clive Owen revisited cherished memories during Monday's instalment of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids.

Originally launching in 2018, Our Yorkshire Farm documented the distinctive way of life for Clive and Amanda, raising their nine children on their remote Yorkshire sheep farm.

The former couple share nine children: Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine, and Nancy. The hit documentary concluded in 2022 after Amanda and Clive parted ways following two decades of matrimony.

Continuing to enchant viewers, the Owen family has embarked on a fresh journey with Our Farm Next Door, following their restoration of a period farmhouse set amidst the stunning Yorkshire Dales landscape.

The 19th-century dwelling sits in Swaledale, close to Ravenseat Farm, and bears the name Anty John in honour of its previous occupant, Anthony John Clarkson. The programme has now reached its third series, showcasing the building two years into its transformation.

During Monday's broadcast, Amanda and Clive enjoyed a conversation outside the residence, drawing parallels between their experiences and Anthony's life.

Having perused Anthony's vintage journals, Amanda noted his wedding entry, quipping to Clive: "And a bit like you, he's a man of few words!"

Discussing Anthony's wedding, Amanda revealed they embarked from Anty John and tied the knot at Muker. She then quizzed Clive: "When's the last time you went to Muker? The show? Muker show?".

She further probed: "What about in 2000?" leaving Clive looking puzzled as she added: "July?" to which Clive retorted: "No, it's the August!" with Amanda countering: "It's July!" leading to laughter from Clive.

Clive then queried: "Why? What happened in August 2000?" to which Amanda jested: "In August? In August, you probably regretted what happened in July!".

Chuckling, Clive then exclaimed: "I remember now, I remember now. We had a bit of a do in Muker, didn't we? Aye, what a hell of a day we had!".

Amanda then confessed in a voiceover: "I mean, I'm going to let you into a little bit of a secret. I got married to Clive at Muker!" as a throwback wedding photo appeared on screen.

Returning to their chat, Amanda teased: "Do you think when I got on my horse to ride side-saddle down the road like Boadicea, and there was a great thunderclap and lightning? Do you think someone was trying to tell me summat?".

To which Clive responded: "Yeah, there you are, that could have been a sign, couldn't it from the heavens? Yeah!" with Amanda replying: "I'll tell you summat, though, it's good that we can laugh about it" adding it was a "great day".

Amanda then highlighted: "With these diaries, there are so many parallels in our lives now and back then. I think that's the weird thing, we keep uncovering things. When they say that truth is stranger than fiction, you couldn't make this one up."

Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids continues on Mondays at 9pm on More4.
