Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar described the Union Budget presented in the Lok Sabha on Sunday as positive and welcome. He said that this budget of the Central Government has been presented keeping in mind the goals of making a developed India. This budget is progressive and future-oriented.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that through this budget, many important steps have been taken by the Central Government to increase the pace of development of the country.

Nitish Kumar, while sharing his reaction on the Union Budget on the social networking site

“Many cities of Bihar will also benefit from the expansion of waterways and will facilitate the export of state products and increase trade and business activities.”

He said that in the Union Budget, big textile parks and Mahatma Gandhi Self-Employment Scheme have been announced across the country. Also, a support of Rs 40 thousand crore has been announced for semiconductor in the budget. This will create new employment opportunities for the youth of the entire country including Bihar and the country’s economic development will be possible at a faster pace.

He wrote, “The Union Budget has announced that there will be a special focus on the Purvodaya states and the North-East region to accelerate development and employment opportunities. The development plans associated with this will provide Bihar with industrial investment, infrastructure and more employment opportunities for the youth.”

Praising the budget, the Chief Minister said that the provisions made in the Union Budget for the development of cities will give a new impetus to urbanization in Bihar. This will expand infrastructure, investment and employment opportunities in the cities of the state.
