Telegram is a popular app for messaging, group chats, and running channels. But sometimes users want to abandon it completely for privacy, time saving or some other reason. Telegram has a self-delete feature that automatically deletes the account if the app is not used for a specified period of time.

6. Choose the time after which the account will be automatically deleted.

Method 2: Delete account immediately from browser

If you want to delete the account immediately without waiting, you will have to use Telegram’s official delete page.

Do it like this:

1. Open Telegram’s account deletion page in the browser of your mobile or computer.


2. Enter your mobile number along with country code.


3. A verification code will appear in your Telegram app.


4. Enter that code on the website.


5. after login Delete Account Select option.


6. If you want, write the reason for going.


7. Confirm deletion.

Once confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted.

• All your chats and contacts will be erased


• The groups and channels created by you will remain, but you will no longer be their original creator.


• The rights of other administrators will remain intact.

This process cannot be reversed.
