Sweet Corn Soup:this one A popular and nutritious soup, which is especially liked during the cold season. This soup is mildly sweet in taste, creamy and full of health. Sweet corn soup not only gives relief to the stomach but also provides essential nutrients to the body. It is considered a great option for everyone from children to the elderly and is also served as a starter before lunch or dinner.
The biggest feature of sweet corn soup is that it can be easily prepared at home with less ingredients. The sweet corn used in it is rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals, which helps in improving digestion and increasing immunity. This is the reason why this soup is very popular even among health conscious people.
First of all, boil the sweet corn grains and after it cools down, grind half the grains lightly in a mixer. Now heat butter or oil in a pan, add garlic and onion and fry lightly. After this add carrots and French beans and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Now add ground corn, whole corn and water and mix well. Dissolve corn flour in some water and add it to the soup and keep stirring continuously so that lumps do not form. Cook the soup on medium flame for 5–7 minutes. Finally add salt and black pepper and mix. Hot sweet corn soup is ready to serve.
