Kajal, a 27-year-old brave SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) commando posted in the Special Cell of Delhi Police, died during treatment on Tuesday morning. 5 days ago, in Mohan Garden area of ​​West Delhi, Kajal was fatally attacked by her own husband with an iron dumbbell used in the gym. Kajal had serious injuries on her head, after which she was in a coma. Now Kajal’s brother Nikhil has told the entire story of that day, which will give you goosebumps.

According to a news in the Indian Express, Kajal, a 2022 batch recruit, became a part of the prestigious SWAT unit of Delhi Police on the basis of her bravery. According to the police, on January 22, she had a dispute with her husband Ankur at her flat in Mohan Garden. Ankur is working as a clerk in the Ministry of Defense (MoD). It is alleged that in a fit of anger he hit Kajal on the head with a dumbbell.

Then after the attack, Ankur himself took Kajal to the hospital. After that he called his family and talked about murder. He was arrested on 22 January itself.

Brother heard sister’s screams on the phone

Kajal’s elder brother Nikhil, who himself is a constable in Sansad Marg police station of Delhi Police. He told the shocking truth of this incident. According to Nikhil, Ankur called him on 22 January. At that time there was a fight between the two. Ankur asked Nikhil to record the call. Nikhil told- During the call, I started hearing Kajal’s screams. The call got disconnected and after 5 minutes Ankur called again, in which he said that he had killed Kajal.

The demon of dowry destroyed the family

Nikhil told that Kajal and Ankur had a love marriage in the year 2023. Both of them also have a one and a half year old son. But it is alleged that soon after the marriage, Ankur’s family started harassing Kajal for dowry. As the dispute escalated, both of them shifted from Ganaur in Sonipat to Mohan Garden in Delhi. However, due to pressure from Ankur, they went back again. Kajal had come to Delhi on 20 January due to her duty on 26 January (Republic Day), where this horrific incident took place.

The struggle lasted for 5 days in the hospital

Kajal was first admitted to a private hospital in Mohan Garden, but as her condition deteriorated, she was shifted to Yashoda Hospital (Nehru Nagar) in Ghaziabad on January 24. He breathed his last at around 6 am on Tuesday morning. Ghaziabad’s Sihani Gate Police informed Delhi Police about Kajal’s death.

Murder sections and investigation

Initially, Mohan Garden police had registered a case of attempt to murder against Ankur. Now after Kajal’s death, the police will add section 302 (murder) in this case. However, despite allegations of dowry harassment by family members, dowry sections have not yet been added to the FIR. The police is investigating the matter thoroughly.
