Plane crash in Baramati: Deputy CM Ajit Pawar’s plane crashes


Desk: A major accident has occurred in Baramati district of Maharashtra. According to the information, the plane of state Deputy CM and NCP chief Ajit Pawar has crashed. A meeting of Ajit Pawar was to be organized during this incident. According to the information received, the plane met with an accident during landing. Five people including Ajit Pawar died in this accident. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has confirmed the deaths of all.

According to top officials of Pune Rural Police, a total of five people were involved in the accident. It is being told that Deputy CM Ajit Pawar was going to Baramati for election campaigning when this accident happened. DGCA has shared information that apart from Ajit Pawar, a Personal Security Officer (PSO) and an attendant, two crew members were also on board the plane. According to initial reports, no one on board the plane is likely to survive.

In the pictures obtained from the accident site, heavy smoke can be seen rising from the plane. It is clear in the video that the plane has fallen in a field and has been completely burnt to ashes. Pictures of the accident site show that there are a large number of people involved in rescue operations. The local administration immediately sent ambulances and other medical aid to the spot.
