If we talk about the family legacy in the party, then the names of Parth Pawar and Jai Pawar, i.e. the third generation leaders, come to the fore. Parth Pawar had entered the electoral fray from Maval Lok Sabha seat, although he did not get success there, but his political ambitions are clearly visible. On the other hand, Jai Pawar is mostly staying behind the scenes and focusing on meeting the organization and workers. The question of who among these two brothers will take the leadership after Ajit Pawar is under discussion. But, in the politics of Maharashtra, name alone does not work, one has to prove popularity among the public and hold on administration. Parth Pawar will have to struggle a long time to prove himself for leadership.
