Arijit further delved into his decision and said that he had gathered the right courage to do something he had been planning on doing for a long time. He added that one of the reasons for quitting playback is that he gets bored and now hopes to see someone else come up and sing to motivate him.

“One of the reasons were simple, I get bored pretty quick, that’s why I keep changing arrangements of the same songs and perform them on stage. So here is the thing, I got bored,” he wrote. Adding, “I need to do some other music to live. Another reason is I am excited to hear some singer come up and give me real motivation (sic).”
