Plane carrying Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar crashes during landing

A plane carrying Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar crashed while attempting to land in Maharashtra's Baramati on Wednesday morning.
Rescue operations are currently underway at the site.
According to an India Today report, the NCP leader, along with his bodyguards, was injured in the crash.
The extent of the damage and the condition of Pawar, however, are yet to be ascertained.

Per ANI, the charter plane was headed to Baramati from Mumbai when it crash-landed around 8:45am.
He was traveling to Baramati to address rallies ahead of Zilla Parishad polls.
Pawar kicked off his campaign for the polls from Baramati on Saturday.
