Shahjahanpur: Fearing moral policing of Hindu organizations in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a couple jumped from the second floor of a pizza shop. This incident happened on Saturday evening. Both of them suffered serious injuries due to jumping from the second floor and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The couple had come to a famous pizza cafe in Morh of Cantt police station area. He ordered noodles and was waiting for it. Then some members of a local Hindu organization came to him. He started asking questions about the couple's reason for coming there and their relationship. The matter became more serious when he asked the caste of the couple. Even after the couple told them that both of them were Hindus, the group did not calm down.
Instead, they started making videos on their mobile phones of the couple waiting for food. Fearing that the video might go viral and they might be attacked, the couple tried to flee from there. When the group blocked the exit, the 21-year-old boy and his 19-year-old friend removed the window and jumped down. As a result, both of them got injured and are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
Due to jumping from above, both of them suffered multiple fractures and also suffered internal injuries. In a video recorded at the spot, the employees and manager of the pizza cafe can be seen running away. The shop was locked until the police arrived. SP Rajesh Dwivedi said that the police reached the spot as soon as information about the incident was received. Police have interrogated the couple for preliminary information. However, no FIR has been registered in this case yet, hence no accused has been arrested. Police say that they will take action as soon as they receive the complaint.
