In most of the houses, while making tea, by adding ginger and cardamom, it is assumed that the tea will automatically become strong and aromatic. But the truth is that many times even after adding all the ingredients, the tea seems bland, tasteless or too bitter. The reason for this is not the lack of spices, but the wrong way of making tea. The correct ratio of water, milk and leaves, the correct time of boiling and the correct sequence of adding spices, all these small things together decide the taste and aroma of tea. If you also want that every cup of tea becomes strong, thick and full of aroma like a dhaba, then it is very important to know the correct method of making tea instead of relying only on ginger and cardamom.

Ingredients for making tea:

One and a half cup of water, two cardamoms, one piece of ginger, 5 cloves, one inch piece of cinnamon, two spoons of tea leaves, one bay leaf, two spoons of sugar, two cups of milk

How to make strong tea?

  • First step: To make strong and aromatic tea, first turn on the gas and place a deep vessel on it. Now add two spoons of sugar in that vessel and add one spoon of water in it. When the sugar becomes well caramelized, add one and a half cups of water in it.

  • Second step: Boil water, when the water starts boiling, add cardamom, ginger, cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf. Keep in mind that before adding these spices, grind them thoroughly.

  • Third step: When these spices are cooked well in water, then add two spoons of tea leaves in it. Now cook them well. When the quantity is reduced to less than half a cup then add two cups of milk in it.

  • Fourth step: Now, let it boil well. Keep in mind that the gas flame should be low. Otherwise the tea will boil and spill out. When the tea boils well, turn off the gas.

  • fifth step: Now, your hot tea is ready. Strain the tea into two cups and serve to the guests.
