The head may also feel heavy due to lack of water in the body i.e. dehydration, because water is not drunk for a long time at night.

Wrong pillow or wrong sleeping position can cause strain in the muscles of the neck and head. Apart from this, blocked nose, sinus problem or lack of oxygen can also increase this problem. In some cases, hormonal changes or poor daily routine also cause heaviness in the head.

What problems can occur other than heaviness in the head?

Along with feeling heavy in the head, the person may feel lethargy, dizziness or burning sensation in the eyes. Difficulty in concentrating and ability to work reduces. Some people feel irritable or restless as soon as they wake up in the morning.

If this problem persists for a long time, headache, neck stiffness and fatigue may persist. Feeling lack of energy even after complete sleep can affect the activities of the day. If these symptoms persist, it may be a sign of disturbance in the body's balance.

Make a habit of sleeping and getting up at a fixed time every day.

Take light and balanced food.
