Ingredients to make Dim Sum at home



  • Flour – 1 cup

  • Salt – a pinch

  • Lukewarm water – as required

  • Finely chopped cabbage – 1 cup

  • Grated carrots – ½ cup

  • Finely chopped capsicum – ½ cup

  • Green onion – 2 teaspoons

  • Garlic chopped – 1 teaspoon

  • Soya sauce – 1 teaspoon

  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon

  • Salt – as per taste


How to make Dim Sum At Home



  1. Prepare wrappers; Mix flour and salt and knead a soft dough with lukewarm water, keep covered for 20 minutes. After this, make small balls and roll them like thin puri.

  2. Make the stuffing; Heat some oil in a pan, add garlic, then add all the vegetables and fry lightly on high flame. Add soy sauce, salt and pepper and turn off the gas. Let the stuffing cool.

  3. Make dim sum; Take a wrapper, place the stuffing in the middle and fold the edges to close it tightly.

  4. Steam; Boil water in a steamer and steam the dim sum for 8–10 minutes, until they are translucent and soft.

Serve dim sum with hot chili sauce or soy dip. Adding a little sesame oil on top further enhances the taste.
