Victoria Beckham has posted about her "great memories" of a day with her son Brooklyn and his brothers - her first public comment since the 26-year-old posted a series of bombshell claims about the family. Both Posh, 51, and David, 50, left messages about the emotional family moment.
It may be a fresh sign from the couple that the door to a reconciliation remains open, despite Brooklyn's explosive claims earlier this week - including one where he spoke about his wedding, saying of Victoria: "She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."
He went on: "We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment. My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we've tried to come together as one."
Today, David and Victoria both commented on the page of photographer Platon Antoniou, who travelled to Madrid to photograph Becks back in 2006. In a post that appeared to directly reference the Beckham family drama, he shared a picture of David with large tattoos of Romeo, Cruz and Brooklyn on his back.
The photographer explained that Victoria had arrived with Brooklyn, who was just seven at the time, for the shoot, writing: "At one point, Brooklyn ran on set with his football under his arm and hugged his dad’s right leg" and explained that the family then had a group hug on the photography set.
The post went on: "It was a poignant thing to see—this spontaneous moment of affection happening on a giant photography set in front of 60 people. Celebrity comes with a heavy price and often it is family members who also pay."
It concluded: "In this picture, although David stands alone, we see the love of his children tattooed onto his back. Family is everything. David Beckham, I salute you."
Victoria replied in the comments: "Brings back great memories!" with a red heart while David liked the post and wrote: "Good memories" also with a heart.
Today we also heard from the youngest of the Beckham children with Harper, 14, congratulating her brother Romeo - who has blocked Brooklyn on social media - on his modelling job. It's her first post since Brooklyn's statement on Monday.
She tagged him in writing: "Yet again!! Another amazing show x." Victoria also congratulated Romeo, writing simply: "Proud," alongside a video of him on the catwalk in Paris. Romeo's girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, wrote: "Goooooooo baby go."
Harper was not mentioned in Brooklyn's post at the start of this week, but his brothers Romeo and Cruz were accused of being sent to slam him on social media.
He wrote: "Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I've received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders. Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer."
After reports emerged that David and Victoria had unfollowed Brooklyn in December, Cruz posted: “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I." Rumours of a rift in the family date back as far as April.
