Official welcome ceremony of Chief Minister Hemant Soren in UK

London: Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended a reception hosted by Vikram Doraiswami, High Commissioner at the High Commission of India in Britain. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with representatives, policy-makers and experts from different countries.

Contribution and development of Jharkhand

During the program, the Minister described the contribution to the overall development of Jharkhand as important. Chief Minister Soren discussed Jharkhand’s economic progress, industrial prospects, natural resources and human resources capabilities. He said that Jharkhand is playing an important role in the development of the country through mineral wealth, youth power and cultural heritage.

Conservation and cultural partnership

The dialogue paid special attention to heritage conservation and cultural partnership opportunities with the United Kingdom. Potential cooperation in the fields of higher education, skill development, sports, and critical minerals were discussed. The Chief Minister said that with international cooperation in these areas, the youth of Jharkhand can get opportunities at the global level.

UK-India strategic partnership

The event is in line with the overall framework of the UK-India Strategic Partnership and is seen as an important initiative to further strengthen the already existing bilateral cooperation between the two countries. This can open new doors for investment, education and technical cooperation at the international level for Jharkhand.
