Collective Artists Network has officially revealed HistoryVerse, a new original content universe focused on India’s vast historical and mythological legacy. Introduced under Collective Studios, the company’s newly formed unified content arm, HistoryVerse, marks one of the most ambitious attempts yet to reimagine Indian history-driven narratives for modern, global audiences.
Touted as India’s largest history-inspired content slate, the lineup features eight original titles spanning theatrical films and web series. These projects draw inspiration from legendary figures, spiritual icons, and cultural traditions that have shaped the subcontinent for centuries. The slate explores stories rooted in the lives and symbolism of Hanuman, Krishna, Shiva, Shivaji, Durga, Kali, and Swami Samarth, among others.
Collective Artists Network stated that the previously released Mahabharat series laid the creative groundwork for HistoryVerse, serving as a proof of concept for how deeply rooted historical narratives can be adapted with contemporary storytelling techniques, cinematic scale, and immersive world-building.

Of the eight announced titles, three are currently being developed as theatrical films, while two will be adapted into web series, with the remaining projects progressing through various stages of development. Each title is undergoing extensive research to ensure authenticity, narrative depth, and visual grandeur.
Speaking on the vision behind HistoryVerse, Vijay Subramaniam, Founder and Group CEO of Collective Artists Network, said,
“India’s folklore and history hold stories that are timeless and globally relevant. With HistoryVerse, we are not just creating films or series – we are building a universe. One that allows audiences to experience these stories across formats, cultures, and generations.”
Beyond screen-based storytelling, Collective Artists Network plans to expand HistoryVerse into experiential formats, consumer brands, and gaming, transforming it into a multi-dimensional entertainment ecosystem. The initiative reflects the company’s long-term strategy to build scalable intellectual properties rooted in Indian heritage while appealing to international audiences.
With HistoryVerse under Collective Studios, Collective Artists Network strengthens its commitment to original storytelling that blends tradition with modern narrative sensibilities – aiming to redefine how Indian history and mythology are experienced in the entertainment landscape.
