Vuong appeared at the ceremony at midday for the wedding of Hoang and Miss World Vietnam 2022 runner-up Nguyen Phuong Nhi, dressed in a light-toned suit and yellow tie as he led the groom’s family procession.

A source cited by Ngoi Sao said Vuong personally greeted members of the bride’s family, beginning with her parents, Nguyen Van Dong and Doan Thi Nguyet. He then spoke on behalf of the groom’s family to formally give their consent and blessing to the marriage.

After the ceremony, Vuong was seen driving several family members home in a convertible. Later in the day, the couple hosted their main wedding reception at a private island resort owned by Vingroup.

The ceremony was attended by a limited number of close relatives from both families. Before officially welcoming Nhi into the family, members of both sides gathered for a commemorative group photograph.

Nhi wore a gold-toned ao dai embroidered with lotus designs, while the groom chose an ao dai featuring sun and mountain motifs. She styled her hair in a low bun and opted for natural, understated makeup.

Earlier that day, Vuong and his family took part in the couple’s Hang Thuan ceremony (Buddhist Wedding Ceremony) at Truc Lam Phung Thuy Son Pagoda on Chin Khuc Mountain in Nha Trang. The Buddhist ritual symbolizes marital commitment and provides moral guidance on family roles and responsibilities.

During the ceremony, the bride and groom listened to teachings that emphasized love, mutual understanding and responsibility as the foundations of married life.

Hoang, 26, previously studied overseas before returning to Vietnam to take on responsibilities within his family’s business group.

The couple held their engagement ceremony in Nhi’s hometown in central Thanh Hoa Province in January 2025, attended by Vuong, his wife and other family members. Since then, Nhi has occasionally appeared alongside her husband’s family at selected events.

Following the engagement, Phuong Nhi deactivated her social media accounts, stepped away from the entertainment industry and kept a low public profile.

She studied international commercial law at Hanoi Law University and speaks both English and Spanish. In 2023, she represented Vietnam at the Miss International pageant in Japan, finishing among the top 15 contestants.

According to ForbesPham Nhat Vuong, Vietnam’s richest billionaire, had an estimated net worth of US$29.3 billion as of Jan. 23.
