Singer Neha Kakkar took to social media to clarify and weigh in on the divorce rooms doing the rounds around her marriage to Rohanpreet Singh. This comes after her rather cryptic social media posts about a break, which eventually sparked conversations and speculation.
The Dilbar singer has now deleted the posts, but those spoke about stepping away from ‘everything’, and given the increased speculation, she has urged everyone not to drag her husband and family into it.

The singer has now issued a clarification.

Taking to her Instagram story, Neha shared a long note, and she also apologised to her fans as well. The statement read, “Guys please don’t drag my innocent husband or my sweetest family in all this plz! They are the purest people I know and whatever I am today, it’s because of their support.! It’s a few other people and the system that I’m upset with. I hope you get it and ley my husband and my family stay out of all this and yes I agree I shouldn’t be so emotional when it comes to posting on social media."
She also went on to give reassurance to her fans and added that she was emotional and hence, posted the concerning posts. She added, “Bechari emotional Nehu is too emotional for this world! Sorry and thank you my NeHearts. Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon with a BANG! Much love!"
For the unversed, Neha had made two separate posts that she deleted. One of them said, “Time to take a break from Responsibilities, Relationships, Work and Everything I can think of right now. Not sure if I’ll be back or not. Thank you."
In another post, she urged the media and fans to give her privacy, and wrote, “And I request Paparazzi and Fans to Not to film me at all. I hope you respect my privacy and let me live freely in this world. No Cameras Plz I request! This is the least you all can give me for my peace." (sic)
Meanwhile, the Candy Shop singer tied the knot with husband Rohanpreet Singh in October 2020, and they are pretty active on social media, often giving glimpses into their vacations, outings, and more.
