Jellycats have become hugely popular, with both adults and children won over by the cute soft toys. Some are even willing to spend hundreds of pounds on the adorable smiley faced plushie.
However, Home Bargains has revealed its latest range of teddies that look strikingly similar to the real deal. The discount store has some very cute dupes for just £1.99 which are Easter-themed. Jellycat has been on the market since 1999 and sells animal-themed plushies suitable for children of all ages.
But, in recent years, the company has started selling plushies of almost anything you could think of. It has fruit and vegetables, as well as plants and sporting equipment.
Its hugely popular Happy Boiled Egg plushie is £18, while the Croissant is £20 and Carrot is £35. However, shoppers have now spotted Home Bargains' offering and are rushing to grab them for themselves.
Ahead of Easter, the discount home store has released its own egg, carrot and hot cross bun plushies. They feature cute smiley faces and little legs, just like the Jellycat ones.
The range is priced at £1.99 for the 20cm plushies. Home Bargains has also released bunny plushes, which also look like the classic Jellycat teddies.
A Bashful Bunny from Jellycat starts at £18, while Home Bargains has grey and white bunnies starting from £3.99. The budget store also has an Easter-inspired teddy holding a carrot for £2.49.
Fans of the cute plushies have already noticed the cheap alternative as one said on TikTok: "They are so cute." Another added: "I NEED THESE." Someone else commented: "OMG NEEDDDD."
Jellycat even has a number of celebrity fans, including Princess Charlotte as she was spotted with her Fuddlewuddle dog. The brand tend to release two new collections each year, with fans eagerly awaiting the winter and summer drops.
It has even opened a pop-up in Selfridges in London, featuring an immersive experience where fans can purchase exclusive fish and chip plushies.
