Hiphop Adhi , a man who has effortlessly made his presence felt both in the world of music and movies, dropped a surprise on his fans who already idolize him. From his concert in Malaysia, the multi-talented artist announced that he is working on the sequel to his critically acclaimed 2017 movie ' Meesaya Murukku '. Dropped during a live concert and embraced by fervent applause from fans, the news has particular relevance for moviegoers who appreciated ‘Meesaya Murukku’s’ coming-of-age themes and have been anticipating it for years. With work already in progress, it represents a revival of a cinematic milestone that has played a significant role in Adhi's journey.



' Meesaya Murukku 2 ' officially announced



At the concert, Adhi revealed that the sequel will continue from the original’s emotional backbone and will be inspired by true events. The film centres on a friendship between two friends, his mushy friendship with his family, including self-realization, and his character development. His statement shows that like the previous part, this movie, too, is a real-life story that he loves to tell, which is relevant to today's youth.



New casting, familiar energy



One of the key features of the sequel is the presence of the immensely popular YouTube star Harshath Khan , who is also known through VJ Siddhu Vlog. Making his film debut in Dragon and Aaromaley, Harshath Khan will play one of two lead roles in 'Meesaya Murukku 2'. Adhi will reprise his role and the bond between the two boys is a key element of the script.
