Travellers can snap up Ryanair flights to a destination boasting high temperatures of up to 21C in February for as little as £17. The no-frills carrier, renowned for its budget-friendly approach, often slashes prices during off-peak periods.

With Britain's weather still pretty chilly, many will undoubtedly be fantasising about escaping abroad to warmer destinations. According to Ryanair's website, UK passengers can secure a one-way ticket to Fuerteventura, Spain's second-largest Canary Island, from just £17 next month.

Located approximately 60 miles from the African coast, the island enjoys pleasant highs of 21C during February.

British holidaymakers have long favoured this destination for its abundant beaches and consistently mild climate throughout the year.

Those departing from London Stansted to Fuerteventura can obtain a basic Ryanair ticket for £17 on multiple dates next month.

Flight times vary by date, with departures at 6.25am, 7.10am, 2.05pm, 2.10pm, 2.20pm, or 2.40pm, and travellers won't need to adjust their watches as there's no time difference between the UK and Fuerteventura.

Return journeys also start from £17, with flights leaving at 11.15am, 12pm, 6.55pm or 7.30pm, subject to the chosen date.

Visit Fuerteventura characterises the island as: "A paradise with over 150 km of beaches of white sand and turquoise waters, where you can discover vast natural landscapes and experience the open character of the local people.

"An island where you can practise a host of activities in optimal conditions."

Those considering a February visit should note that temperatures rarely drop below 13C. For comparison, temperatures in London during the same period typically range between 4-10C.
