Ujjain. Before the Indore ODI, Indian cricket team’s star batsman Virat Kohli and spin bowler Kuldeep Yadav participated in the morning Bhasma Aarti of the world famous Jyotirlinga Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Earlier, Team India coach Gautam Gambhir and batting coach Sitanshu Kotak had reached Mahakal Temple in Ujjain.
After the darshan, on behalf of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee, Additional Collector and Administrator Pratham Kaushik and Assistant Administrator Moolchand Junwal welcomed and honored Virat Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav. On the same occasion, famous playback singer Sona Mahapatra also participated in the morning Bhasma Aarti and had darshan of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar. After the darshan, he was welcomed and felicitated by Assistant Administrator Moolchand Junwal on behalf of the Temple Management Committee.
In a video shared by a news agency, Virat Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav were seen performing the puja. While leaving the temple, Virat greeted the media with “Jai Shri Mahakal”. Amidst security arrangements, both the players came out of the temple, where the people present captured this moment in their cameras.
