X, formerly Twitter, is down as users say they cannot update their feeds or access news on their accounts.

This is the second outage in a week for the social media. X went down for more than 24,000 users on Tuesday, January 13.

Today's outage has been reported throughout the United States, including areas in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Houston, Downdetector reported, but UK users are experiencing issues too. Users are reporting difficulties in updating their feed or accessing news on the platform.
