This has been revealed in the latest report of FoundIt Job Search (formerly Monster). According to the report, the demand for AI skills is increasing rapidly and companies are now giving priority to professionals skilled in data analysis, machine learning, automation and AI tools.

The pace of recruitment will increase further in 2026

The report also predicts that the pace of AI- recruitment will increase further in the year 2026. It is estimated that next year there will be a 32% year-on-year increase in recruitment through AI (RTI). With this, the total number of AI jobs can reach around 3.80 lakh posts, which opens up huge opportunities for the youth.

Strength returned to the employment market

India’s job market appears to be on the rise again by the end of 2025. According to the report, recruitment continued across various sectors, job roles and cities. There was an increase of 5% month-on-month and 15% year-on-year in recruitments, which brought relief to the youth looking for jobs.

Commenting on this trend, Tarun Sharma, Chief Product and Technology Officer, FoundIt, said, “Hiring in the year 2025 is not only expanding,” This statement confirms that AI is no longer a need of the future, but of the present.
