Young cricket sensation and Rajasthan Royals' Vaibhav Suryavanshi is facing criticism on the internet for allegedly lying about his age.
Some videos from a few years ago have gone viral, in which it can be seen that Vaibhav is saying that his age is 14 years.
A video from 2023 shows him acknowledging that he will turn 14 in September this year.

This has led to internet trolls targeting him for lying about his age to prolong his career and gain the fame that comes with being tagged as a '14-year-old' after playing good innings in games.
Although many Indians lie about their age, Vaibhav Suryavanshi's rapid rise to fame has brought him further criticism.
