Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday announced the initiative to implement AI mission. Inaugurating the AI and Health Innovation Conference, he said that programs worth about Rs 2000 crore will be implemented under this mission in three years. UP will become the leading state in using AI in health services.
At the same time, 62 AI data labs will be created in UP, which will be established in small cities. Chief Minister Yogi said that AI is changing governance from reactive to proactive. He said that technological innovation has led to steps towards trust in governance and inclusive development. The use of AI can make health policies effective and improve the data collection process to epidemics and vector-borne diseases.
Apart from this, Medical Device Park, Pharma Park, Meditech Center of Excellence in Lucknow, AI and Innovation based Entrepreneurship Center in Gautam Buddha Nagar and Center of Excellence in IIT Kanpur are being developed in the state.
