Netflix’s 2025 data confirms that WWE’s Monday Night Raw did not just find a new home on the platform. It dominated it, pulling in hundreds of millions of views and establishing itself as a global fixture in Netflix’s top rankings.
The flagship program’s performance has been staggering. Since its January 2025 debut on Netflix, Monday Night Raw has averaged over 3 million viewers per week. Its consistency is perhaps most impressive, as the show landed on Netflix’s Global Top 10 English TV chart for 47 out of the 52 weeks it aired during its first year.
This dominance was mirrored in key international markets. Raw charted in the United States for 51 weeks, Bolivia for 49 weeks, Canada for 48 weeks, the United Kingdom for 40 weeks, and Mexico for 38 weeks, demonstrating its widespread, cross-cultural appeal as a streaming staple.
Moreover, the full scope of WWE’s impact on Netflix in 2025 was monumental. Subscribers watched more than 525 million hours of WWE content throughout the year. Monday Night Raw was the undisputed engine of that engagement, accounting for 340 million views on its own. The remaining 185 million views came from premium live events such as WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble, which streamed on Netflix outside the United States, along with the weekly show SmackDown.
The integration extended beyond weekly broadcasts. WWE superstars became familiar faces at major Netflix events such as Next on Netflix 2025 and Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event, as well as the grand openings of Netflix House locations. A notable creative crossover also fueled interest, including a special Stranger Things episode of Raw that aired on January 5, capitalizing on hype surrounding the series finale just days earlier.
With the recent announcement that a large portion of WWE’s classic library content will be available on Netflix in the United States, the partnership appears poised to make an even greater impact (via Variety).
