Today, even though we are living in cities, mutual interaction, sharing of joys and sorrows and cultural bonds are gradually weakening. Feeling this pain, the need for a platform like ‘Apni Mati-Apni Shaan’ was felt.

Speakers said that this initiative started from the thinking of Jitendra Singh, in which lies the feeling that whether in happiness or sorrow, our people should stand with each other, give time and preserve their original identity. He said that our real identity in the city is our soil, our village and our culture.

After the formation of this platform, mutual affinity, connectedness and cultural consciousness among the people has become stronger. Speakers expressed concern that the coming generations may get away from their language, culture and traditional values, hence such events are necessary from time to time, which help connect the near and dear ones. This family gathering is a powerful and inspiring effort in that direction.

In the cultural session of the program, spokesperson Government Inter College Garima Singh left the audience emotional by presenting an emotional poetic recitation of Luv-Kush incident. Pawan Singh’s Bhojpuri music presentation took everyone back to the memories of their village and the entire auditorium danced. Ram Singh, retired lecturer of Government Inter College, conducted the program with utmost efficiency, dignity and rhythmic style and won the hearts of everyone.
