News India Live, Digital Desk: Now a new milestone is about to be added to the beauty of ‘Kartavya Path’ extending from India Gate to Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. There is news that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his staff are going to shift to their new office soon. It has been named Seva Teerth Complex. As the name suggests, here an attempt is being made to consider work as ‘worship’ and governance as ‘service’. Big power under one roof. We have often seen that in government work, files take hours or days to move from one office to another. But the Seva Teerth Complex has been built in such a way that big departments like the Cabinet Secretariat and the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) will be present together in it. Along with this, it also includes ‘Kartavya Bhavan’, which will serve as the Prime Minister’s Office. This means that the ‘gap’ that used to exist between security decisions and major orders of the government will now end. The biggest feature of this complex is the state-of-the-art security here. An underground tunnel i.e. a secret path has also been prepared from the PM’s residence to the office (PMO). The advantage of this will be that the PM will not have to stop the traffic on the road to come and go, so that the general public does not face any problem and the security also remains completely strong. Technology is hidden in simplicity. Even though it looks grand from outside, but it has been made very ‘eco-friendly’ and sustainable from inside. Energy savings, increased use of natural light and emphasis on paperless work will be the hallmark of this complex. It has been made completely ‘futuristic’ so that the government work can run smoothly from here without any technical hindrance for many decades to come. New pace of work Till now various departments of PMO were spread in South Block and other buildings. Seva Teerth Complex will integrate all these and create a strong centre. It is believed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start his work from here with the beginning of 2026. This is not just a brick and stone building, but a new address of the administrative pace of ‘New India’. When major decisions of the country will be taken sitting here, then perhaps this name ‘Seva Teerth’ will work to create a new confidence in the administration in the minds of the people.
