Gold-Silver Rate Today 12 Jan: There is a tremendous rise in the prices of gold and silver today, i.e. Monday, the first day of the trading week. There was an increase in their prices last week too and this week too, due to the situation in the global market, further rise in the prices of gold and silver is expected.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) last Friday, the price of gold closed at Rs 1,38,875 per ten grams, while the price of silver was Rs 2,52,002 per kg. Today on Monday, both gold and silver prices are on the verge of reaching new highs.


Gold and silver shine in international markets


Today, gold and silver prices in the international market are close to touching their all-time high level and attracted investors. On Monday, spot gold on Comex reached $ 4,589.00 an ounce and spot silver reached $ 83.325 an ounce. Due to increased geopolitical tensions globally, investors are now looking at gold and silver as safe investments, leading to an increase in demand and prices of these metals.


Latest prices of gold and silver in India today


The price of 24 carat gold in India today has become Rs 1,40,450 per ten grams. The rate of 22 carat gold has become Rs 1,28,740 per ten grams and the rate of 18 carat gold has become Rs 1,05,330 per ten grams. At the same time, there has been a huge rise in the price of silver. Today the price of one kg silver has reached Rs 2,59,900. A huge increase of 3.71 percent has been seen in the price of silver, and its price has reached Rs 2,52,362 per kg.


Silver will cross Rs 3.20 lakh


The increase in silver prices is due to lack of supply and increase in demand. The silver market is witnessing a lot of momentum these days, and its prices are increasing to record levels. A recent report by experts regarding the rising prices of silver has caught everyone’s attention. The report estimates that by 2026, the price of silver may go up to Rs 3.20 lakh per kg, which will be about 27 percent more than the current prices.

  • In Kolkata also, the price of 24 carat gold has increased to Rs 1,40,450 per ten grams.

  • The price of 24 carat gold in Hyderabad has become Rs 1,40,450 per 10 grams and in Ahmedabad it has become Rs 1,40,500 per 10 grams.
